Please come and join us on July 27, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. as we sign up for CRT Community Response Team for the Port of Dewatto, Collins Lake and Haven Lake. This will be a sign up and more information on what to expect, possible outlines and what we will be learning in order to help our community in the event of a natural disaster. Robert Collamore — Firefighter/Trainer will be here to discuss what to expect. We met with Robert at our Cookie Social June 1, 2019 so he could let us know why we may be needed in the event of an emergency. The Training sessions are listed as follows:
- July 27, 2019 1:00 p.m. — Sign up, information, expected outcome etc. We must have 5 volunteers to sign up to be able to continue the classes.
- August 3, 2019 1:00 p.m. — Course study and training
- August 10, 2019 1:00 p.m. — Course of study and training Community Barbeque to follow at 3:00 Please RSVP by 8/3/21019 The Port will provide the meat, drinks and condiments. Please bring a side dish to share.
- August 17, 2019 1:00 p.m. — Course of study and training. 1:00 p.m.
- August 24, 2019 1:00 p.m. — Course study completion and small social afterwards.
